1) In xfire be sure that mic settings in xfire ( extras, option, voice ,are at max
2)Than go to start( left corner below) /configuration screen/ & click on sound icon than a windows pops up like this(screenshot 2)
Than select the second tab from left opnemen = recording and than select microphone(screenshot 3), most people have only 1 mic, so select the one with green V
and double left click on it ,than an other window pops up like this(screenshot 4) there check the 2 tabs with black arrows , aangepast = modified or adjust and niveaus = levels
in tab modified/adjust click in tic box & activate +20Db and in tab levels be sure level is at 100%,, thats all, after this sound in xfire should be loud ennof
For Windows Xp they must go start: configuration screen & double left click on sound icon and select advanced than click on options and than click on properties, in there they
have 2 options possible output and input device , the must select input devicec (recording device) and put the mic volume at desired volume or max vol
